The Washington Parish Jail, located in Franklinton, is a
full-service jail rated at a capacity of 144 beds. The WPSO Jail provides

Jail Visitation
Visitation for the month of March will be held on the 4th, 9th, 16th, 18th, 23rd and 30th.
March 4: All female inmates will be able to receive visitors.
March 9: Inmates from A-block will be able to receive visitors.
March 16: Inmates from B-block will be able to receive visitors.
March 18: Inmates from D-block will be able to receive visitors.
March 23: Inmate workers and male inmates from F-block will be able to receive visitors.
March 30: Inmates from C-block will be able to receive visitors.
Only two adults and three minors are allowed to visit per inmate. Inmates with sex crime charges may not visit with minors. Visitors must arrive by 5:15 p.m. Registration begins at 5:15 p.m. and visitors must be signed up by 5:30 p.m.
Please bring a valid ID or Driver’s License.
Minors under one year of age, visitors with a warrant or visitors who are registered sex offenders will not be permitted for visitation.
No items are allowed during visitation. This includes, but is not limited to, purses, phones, jewelry and other items. Visitors and inmates are subject to search.
No provocative clothing is allowed.
The minimum time allotted to each inmate is 30 minutes, with a maximum of 45 minutes.
