D.A.R.E.
Due to funding issues, the D.A.R.E. Program has been temporarily suspended. Sheriff Seal hopes to be able to once again offer D.A.R.E. to our parish school children.

Washington Parish D.A.R.E. Program
Sheriff Randy Seal is pleased to offer the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program to school children throughout Washington Parish. This excellent education program teaches children about the effects of drug abuse and teaches them how to resist peer pressure and to remain drug free. Students who participate in D.A.R.E. are recognized in a formal ceremony and awarded a certificate of completion. During the 2012-13 school year, more than 500 students successfully completed the program.
